Purpose: The objective of the
Community Action Program for Children is the improvement of the health and well-being
of young children living in conditions of at risk.
Coalition
Activities:
The Coalition has 3 major foci:
- Annual
Staff Learning Conference: to promote development of knowledge,
skills and training for project staff in areas appropriate to CAPC goals
and philosophy.
- Management
Training:
2 annual trainings to promote increased knowledge and skill base for
Project Managers regarding effective project management and operations
- Coalition
Meetings:
Members meet four times per year to facilitate/promote project
networking and communication between projects, to promote active
communication with Health Canada, and to increase
the profile of CAPC projects in Manitoba and among other
stakeholders.
